(Supplementary Circular No. 8 to Master Circular No. 28)

Subject: Confidential Reports of non-gazatted staff-addition of a column "Fit for posting as a trainer in the training institute''.

                        Railway Safety Review Committee-1998 (Part I) vide item No. 5.5 of its Recommendation have recommended as under: 

            "Attributes required for a trainer should be carefully observed during the training courses and noted in the trainee's personal record to facilitate future selection as trainers''.

 2.   The recommendation has been accepted by the Railway Board. Consequently, it has been decided  that in the Confidential Report forms circulated under Board's letter No. E(NG)I-86/CR/5, dated 22.4.1987 (Bahri's 83/87, p.128), an additional column "whether he/she is fit for posting as trainer in training institute'' may be included in Part III as item No. 16A in Annexure I, item No. 24A in Annexure II and item No. 32A in Annexure III.
